Lovett Care are soon to open a new care home in Northern Moor, Upland Manor. So what can residents expect?

Care homes sometimes have a negative perception, but some provide, not just day to day care, but promote the wellbeing of the older person with activities, day trips, an accessible garden and good food. Plus staff who can make you laugh every day.

Sharan Herbert and Colin Owen have been to visit sister home, Ashlands Manor, in Sale to speak to residents and staff and find out what it is like to live in a care home.
